Road Cycling in the Pyrenees

Our Favourite Rides

Have you been keeping up with our favourite local rides features over the last few weeks? Did you catch last week's feature on the Col des Palomieres, or our first featured ride, the Col d'Aspin? Over the next few days and weeks, I'll be adding some more of our favourite rides onto the blog for you to see where we cycle to from our base at Allons y Pyrenees.

In the meantime, head to our Favourite Rides page on the website if you want to see more.

Ride number 3: The Col du Tourmalet.
Perhaps the most iconic of all the rides in the Pyrenees and of course, heavily featured in the Tour de France, this is a firm favourite with all of our guests. It's worth mentioning that the statue of the Giant who lives at the summit over summer, heads back up to the top on the first Saturday of June with much partying and celebrations along the way... If you fancy it, let us know!

Got a col worth mentioning? Let me know and I'll include it in the blog for you!
The highest peak of the Pyrenees and a 'must do' ride.
Made famous by Le Tour De France, this is a truly iconic ride.
This is an epic ride and should be on every cyclist's 'must do' list.
