Cycling holidays in France

Summer may well seem a long way away, but we have some amazing offers to tempt you into booking your next cycling holiday with us here in the Pyrenees.

Prices from 699€* per week per person based on 2 sharing a room on a half-board basis. Airport and station transfers available from Lourdes airport or Tarbes Station - other airports at a supplement.

How’s your winter training going? We’re enjoying some great weather here in the Pyrenees and have been out and about cycling and enjoying local life in this beautiful part of the world. If the grey skies of the UK are getting you down and you’re thinking about a summer cycling trip out to the Pyrenees then we still have availability for the month of June, and we also have limited availability in September and October for those of you who fancy an Autumn Cycling Adventure. Our TDF package for 2024 is fully booked but the CIC-Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées has two stage starts right on our doorstep - and I do mean that quite literally (click to see our blog post on the race) - and with the offers below, we’re hoping we can tempt you (or anyone else you know) to book a holiday with us this year.

But first things first, let us tell you a little more about AYP: We are Rachel and Chris, and we make up the team at Allons-y-Pyrenees, a cycling guest house catering for up to 15 guests at a time in the tiny village of Thuy in the Hautes-Pyrenees. All of our packages come with supported cycling days and route planning, enabling you to discover the cycling routes best suited to you in and around the Pyrenees.

Our stunning property is typical of this area and made up of a converted farmhouse and barns, with spacious bedrooms, comfortable salons and large outdoor spaces to relax in when you’re not out on the bike or busy exploring the area. The outdoor pool provides the perfect area to chill out around and offers great views of the Pyrenees. Our communal dining areas enable all of our guests to feast together - and it really will be a feast! We provide a 3-course, home-cooked, locally sourced meal each evening, all served with wine from our local vineyards (St Mont, Madiran or Jurancon).

Our best selling package is the Yellow Jersey Package (7 nights half board with supported cycling), our Pyrenean Camping C2C Adventure (a mere 700 km and only 16,000m of height gain over 6 days of riding) provides a challenge for those who are up for it and our TDF Package is always very popular. Right now, all 3 of these packages have an exclusive discount if you quote SUMMER24, but don't forget, we will happily tailor a package to suit you, whether it’s a shorter or longer break, 1 person or a huge group, a gentler week with shorter rides and the chance to visit a few markets, vineyards and therme spas, a tour into the Spanish side of the mountains or even something further afield - let us know what you're looking for and we'll create a package for you.

We'd love to see you here in the Pyrenees, and we'd also love to see even more new faces so please do share this post with anyone you think might be interested and don't forget to follow us on Facebook or Instagram or read the AYP Blog to keep up to date with life at AYP, and if you need something to make you smile on those rainy days when it's not possible to get out on the bike, check out Orlagh's Instagram Account! Finally, our website is the best place to find out more about us and what we do, so head over there as soon as you get the chance!

Get in touch with us today to find out more, and we hope to see you out here soon!
