Road Cycling in the Pyrenees
Our Favourite Rides: Col d'Aubisque
Have you been keeping up with our local rides blog over the last couple of months? We've posted our absolute favourite local rides but still have plenty more to come. Check them out here.
This week's ride is so iconic that one of our guest houses is named after it.
Over the next few weeks, I'll continue to add some more of our favourite rides onto the blog for you to see where we cycle to from our base at Allons y Pyrenees.
If that's too long to wait, head to our
Favourite Rides page on the website if you want to see more or let us know your favourite ride over here and we'll check it out!
Ride number 7: Col d'Aubisque.
An iconic ride of the Pyrenees, second only perhaps to the Tourmalet and heavily featured in the TDF and many other sportifs. Find out more about this year's tour
here. We ride this col combined with the Soulor if we're cycling out from AYP but we've also ridden it as part of our Coast to Coast Package, ending the day in Argeles Gazot at a cool little campite. Check out the C2C blog
here. Got a col worth mentioning? Let me know and I'll include it in the blog for you!
